The Mad Alchemist is a small-batch distillery based in Sacramento, California, dedicated to crafting distinctive spirits with character, precision, and a spirit of experimentation. We produce small-batch whiskey, bourbon, rye, and tequila, focusing on quality ingredients, thoughtful craftsmanship, and bold flavor. Inspired by the art of transformation, The Mad Alchemist approaches every spirit as a carefully crafted experiment—balancing tradition with creativity to produce bottles that are memorable, approachable, and uniquely our own. From rich, barrel-driven whiskeys to smooth, expressive tequila, every release reflects our commitment to craftsmanship over mass production. Made in small batches. Crafted with purpose. Born in Sacramento.
